Frontier has an accelerated day and night cycle, based upon a planetary rotation of 12 hours per day from east to west. Do not be alarmed at the sight of the sun rising from the west - this is perfectly normal. All clocks and time pieces will reflect the time within Frontier as well as the local host machine's time. You can look at the sky any time during the day to view the position of the sun. At night however, darkness reigns over Frontier and torches are necessary to move about outside of town. The two moons of Frontier, Hecate and Aurelius, will provide light when they are both in full-phase.
