Skarns are a collection of peculiar metamorphic rocks fused together. Their surface is often highlighted by occasional ore deposits giving it a colour and sheen which varies from browns or greens to silvers or golds, depending on the minerals present. They are massive formations, towering up to 15 feet high, with incredible strength, striking power, and endurance but they are very slow to move. Their life cycle is so exaggerated that they age and advance at a much slower rate than any living thing in Frontier.
