Thranx are a race of giant insects. They are best described as a 6 foot tall praying mantis. They are extremely strong and quick and are protected by a hard, chitinous armour that covers their entire body. Thranx are extremely social and are linked mentally to all other thranx through their hive-mind. The connection to the hive not only allows thranx to share their thoughts with one another but also allows them to pool their spellpoints for use by any other hive member. It is very difficult for a thranx to keep a secret from another thranx because what is told to one thranx is often overheard by all others in the hive. Thranx are slow healers but have a strong natural armour and strong natural weapons.
